CARTA DE PRESENTACIÓN A LA RED YES

San Miguel de Tucumán, 19 September 2014 

      Dear Sir Meng WANG, President of the World Young Earth Scientists (YES) Network, and to whom it may concern:

   I´m writing to introduce myself as the new Representative of the YES Chapter of Argentina.

   My name is Patricio Guillermo Villafañe; and I live in Tucumán, Argentina.  I´m in the last year of the Geology degree career, in the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the National University of Tucumán.

    The reason of why I have enough time, energy and enthusiasm to take charge of this chapter and helping my country and Latin America to win leadership in the World Young Earth Scientists (YES) Network.

My short terms and main objectives are:

·         Raise the number of Argentinean members in the network and give to know the different universities of our country.

·         Look for a national organization to improve the communication between members from Argentina through fast and effective ways.

·         Organize the first Latin American Symposium of the World Young Earth Scientists (YES) Network in Tucumán in 2015.

·         Look for more participation from Argentina in the conferences of the World Young Earth Scientists (YES) Network and in their activities.

·         Form a human group who will take this challenge with seriousness and energy with the aiming of not only improving the integration of Argentina to world level, but also to make last this project through the time.
